Sharron Cooks
Ms. Sharron L. Cooks, M.A, is a visionary leader and the Owner & Chief Executive Officer of Making Our Lives Easier LLC an independent business consulting firm that provides quality resources and information to the under-represented; specializing in community affairs, public relations, and organizational business management services. Ms. Cooks, M.A., is the Chair of the Philadelphia Association of Black Journalists' Associate Membership Taskforce, a member of the National Association of Black Journalists, a Philadelphia Democratic City Committee person of the 27th Ward, and serves as the assistant secretary of the leadership team. She is also a New Leaders Council - Philadelphia Chapter Alumni. Ms. Cooks, M.A, is also on Temple University Alumni Association's DEI Committee, the former Marketing & Communications Chair at Temple Women's Network, and the former secretary of the Black Alumni Association of Arcadia University.
Her core values are trust, integrity, equity, transparency, and accountability. Ms. Cooks, M.A has built a vast and diverse network of professionals across all spectrums of industry– non-profit organizations, for-profit companies, humanitarian and human rights causes. As a longtime community affairs and public relations professional she has used her skills to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through various wide-reaching initiatives that engage journalists, media professionals, elected officials, business and community leaders.
