Queen Muse

Queen Muse is a communications director, dynamic writer, and public relations pro. She most recently served as the lead writer and editor for her Philadelphia magazine health column, NextHealth PHL. Launched in May 2019, the segment quickly became a leading resource for timely and insightful stories about innovation in the Philadelphia region's biotech and life sciences sector. Her column reached over 100,000 monthly readers and 30,000 newsletter subscribers. As a freelance writer, Queen’s stories and commentaries have been featured in numerous outlets, including NBC.com, HuffPost, WHYY, The Grio, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Philadelphia Business Journal, and NBC10.com. She holds an M.A. in Strategic Communication from La Salle University where she previously served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication, teaching courses in journalism and public relations.

She has developed clear and effective communications materials and content strategies for high-level organizations in media, publishing, government, and education. Queen recently founded the Queen Muse, LLC, to offer writing and public relations services to clients seeking content creation and publicity at various stages of building their brands.
