India Fenner

India Fenner is a 24 year-old Philly native, who recently graduated from Temple University, double majoring in Africology and Political Science. Outside of school, India focuses on making an impact on the city by being involved with several organizations and mentoring youth. After organizing her own protest that focussed on empowering young Black girls and Black women, India has been focussed on stories of Black women throughout history. Moving forward India plans to continue to be an advocate for her community starting with the youth. 

Fenner is the creator of the Philadelphia Black Women’s March. From 2017 to 2019, the March unified over 200 black women and girls in impactful protest and garnered over $2,000 in support from local organizations, politicians, and community leaders.
